It's obvious that @DJ has not seen every one of Chase Young's plays. We have and this guy is not the guy many believe him to be. But I do agree that pass rushers get over paid due to demand. But is Sweat, a guy who has average 7.5 sacks a season, considered a pass rusher worth of $25 million/year? I don't think he is..

I never said I have....now did I?

But, I do know Young is on pace to have his best season now that he is healthy after 2 injury plagued seasons.

And being opposite Bosa? He isn't going to see a lot of double teams and playing opposite him is going to open up a world of possibilities for him.

For what it's worth Spotrac had Sweat's "Market Value" at $25M. I've watched very little of the Commanders so i'm not going to comment on how well Sweat played or what he was worth. I will say that Leonard Floyd was 1 of my favourite players when he was with the Rams. Statistically he wasn't great but that was partly because he played an edge control role that sacrificed his own stats for the benefit of the team. For my money edge control is as or more important than pure rushing.
