yes but it should be , i would switch london and wilson
I am curious what the Day 2 strategy is. Obviously, it will depend on the 1st round pick or if we trade back, but I am curious what they are planning for. I wonder what the highest positions of need they want to address. I am prepared to be confused and flat-out pissed. I don't think they see the holes on the team that most of us do.

Hamilton's 40 times scares me as much as London turning out to be Doctosn. Both of those notions will most likely prove to be false.

However Wilson's route tree ability jumps off the screen and he actually ran a faster 40 than Olave. I do think Olave has more game speed than Wilson.
I think Hamilton not having a true position scares a lot of people. I believe he slips some and a team grabs him and finds a way to get him on the field. He tackles well, closes fast, and has a true nose for the ball.

Well then this meeting was a waste of time and money.
Again, why waste time and money bringing a guy in who is at the top 5 of every draft board? You are not trading up for a DL so my question was, what was the point of this meeting?

Hamilton is not a game changing player need to trade down Washington has too many holes and they don't have a 3rd or 5th rounder and the free agents in June are crappy

We'll sign a vet or two in FA after the draft country calm down.

I would draft Pickett at 11 because am sure Wentz by week will get a season ended injury that is our luck so why not draft to prepare for the bad luck and also got to go Rb at 2nd

People (meaning nfl talent evaluators) seem concerned that Pickett has already reached his ceiling, apparently.

I think the wisest course of action is trading down for more picks in a deep draft.

Yeah, I think country is the only one I’ve heard say anything bad about Hamilton. I think he’ll be the pick and hopefully @countryroads316 is wrong.
I agree. I think its Hamilton and I think we will be very happy with it. Young can run the DLine and Hamilton can run the secondary.

Here's what they must do in the first two rounds of this draft.

1.
DO NOT trade down in round one... This is an absolute must not do for this team. They cannot take a QB at 11 (poor value) and while Hamilton IMO is the best player in this draft, they must fill the greater need which is WR1, WR1A. ( My preferences are, in order... 1. Jameson Williams injury recovery and all, 2. Garrett Wilson,3. Chris Olave, 4. Drake London, one should be there for us at #11)

2. Trade down before the draft with Kansas City, exchanging #47 for picks 50 and 63 (KC has 12 picks and doesn't have space for 12 new guys) Now if either Ridder or Corral is there when our turn comes, grab one of them, preferably Ridder as he represents the best value in round 2 for this QB class. Then use #63 to bolster the defense. (LB, Safety) there's excellent value here too for either position.

I dont think they pass on Hamilton for a WR at #11. WR is a deep poison in this year's draft could get one in round 2. I like your option #2 but we will not select a QB

I also can see a RB being selected in round #2 over WR if we take Hamiliton at #11. Then sty will really go nuts. lol

The most unnerving thing about this organization (and some posters) is how much they are ruled by small-minded, unimaginative, conservative defeatism. Take for example your statement "WR is a deep poison in this year's draft could get one in round 2."

This is true but you want the best at all positions and this line of thinking merely gets you a lesser abled body. It's akin to looking for the best wife for yourself, finding her only to defer to Gretchen who can't pass the looks, interpersonal grace, or smell test, but she is a female by design so she'll do.

Hamilton and an RB huh? It's an awfully strange way to address the top two needs of this team (WR1A and QB)
