I'm actually intrigued by Willis at the moment. His height measurement at the combine will be everything. If he measures out at 6'1 cool. If he measures out at 5'11 like some of the rumors I've heard, pass.

The thing we need to know is does he have an arm ? Can he process information at a pro level
? Is he accurate ? Is he a prima donna. ?

The rest doesn’t matter

Oh he's got an arm. The fact that he was originally at Auburn made me take a second look. A big school wanted him.

They are going to most likely be 3-14 or 4-13. They will be in position to take one of the top two QBs on the board. They have to and they need to do their homework and take one.

I fully expect the QB room next year to be Heinicke, Trubisky, and a QB taken with the 4th or 5th pick.

I would like to see a QB picked in the 1st round ...

Then I think of past 1st rounders:
Heath Shuler
Patrick Ramsey
Jason Campbell
Robert Griffin
Dwayne Haskins

@Sportster 72 I'm at the point where I'm taking a QB every year and signing one on top of that until I find one that can really play. Then I can go get the rest.

Stafford has a career W/L record of 68-78-1. He's now an MVP candidate.

I dont buy all the W/L record nonsense when it comes to these QBs. Trust your eyes. Find one though the draft, FA, or trade. Just find one and keep trying until you do, so we can join the rest of the league and be relevant again.

I have been advocating for a couple of years that you keep drafting, signing someone every year until you find one. It is the most important position on the field and even more so these days. They don't all have to be 1st rounders.

Somewhere years ago many people judge athletes on W/L records. That is impossible in a team sport. A really good one gives you a chance more often than not but it isn't a guarantee. You can't say Sonny, Moon or Marino sucked. That just isn't true.

Math could be wrong, but I think Casserly drafted Shuler, Cerrato drafted Ramsey, Gibbs who sucked as a wanna be GM traded up and then drafted Campbell, Snyder basically drafted Griffin.

Shanahan wanted Tannihill and then was allowed to draft Cousins. Who knew RG3 was a complete narcissist. We all know the story behind Haskins.

My point is, it's not the QB. It's who's making the decision to draft said QB. Hurney was supposed to be all in on Herbert. Maybe he's just the guy to finally solve the QB position here.

Fingers crossed buddy.

My real fear is no matter what with Snyder as owner they could draft a Brady clone and F-it up.

Snyder will always be the X factor. At this point you almost feel foolish in thinking anything else besides an ownership change matters.

I think our best bet is through the draft

You're beginning to convince me about that, but honestly I have grave concerns about RR and Co.handling the young man's career.
