Unless one of the QBs emerges, this is my guy right now.

Just not a fan of Malik Willis I would rather draft one of these 3 - Sam Howell, Desmond Ridder, Matt Corral

Look at the whole thread , I watched this game and the wind was swirling all day . Have to have a good arm to make those throws accurately.

QB's generally move up in the draft and some are drafted higher than what their grade-outs show. That said, I would love to get any of these guys just as long as they aren't over-drafted. It's not that their draft status matters in general but because a first round QB drafted by Washington stands little chance in succeeding. There would be expectations beyond any realistic ones simply based on draft position. For most of these guys the leap from college ball to the NFL is far wider than previous classes, and to a man they would need some patience before they are ready to go. (it won't happen here)

Now, if Washington decides to move back in the upcoming draft and get their guy coupled with more draft capital then by all means do that, just don't over-draft a guy and pull a Jamin Davis.

Note: I believe that Spencer Rattler's stock has dropped to the point that is not recoverable, unless the unforeseen happens and he's reinserted as starter at Oklahoma. He's a junior and there's still time for him to make a career decision in terms of where he goes next. In the meantime, here's one current rating for upcoming NFL prospects.

I have seen Corral play three times. Not sure if his game translates to the NFL. He has the arm and is athletic, he isn't big. I saw Desmond Ridder some last year and one game this year. Certainly a guy to check out. I really haven't watched anyone else. My take is the team needs a QB ... if you aren't in love with one draft one later ... it worked out well for Seattle and Washington in 2012.
