Closer game than the final score reads - Harry played great between the pipes and a little better finishing from the Chiefs and this game could be very different.

It was a good game. Fun to watch. Neither team played their best, but I thought the Tigers were more composed throughout. The Chiefs had their moments and Meneghin was very good. Cowan had some great saves too. Spokane usually comes out blazing after a loss, so we'll see if they continue that trend on Sunday.

A lot of pressure on the Tigers with this 2-3-2 format, if the Chiefs win game 2, they can wrap it up at home with three straight wins. Tigers obviously want to make sure there will be a game 6 (if necessary) in Medicine Hat with a game 2 win.

Chiefs were in the exact same scenario in both of the previous 2 series lol. Even if Spokane wins game 2, I'd be stunned if they won 4 straight against Medicine Hat. But it is nice knowing you can't lose a series on the road.
