Big time comeback tonight. Big line gets it done again. Can't let up though, Victoria is very capable of winning the next 2 games. The Chiefs need to quit spotting them multi goal leads.

Not sure why there's a three day break in the Calgary - Lethbridge series as game 7 won't be played until Wednesday night. That said, there's talk that Andrew Basha might be available to play at some point in the upcoming series between Medicine Hat and the winner of the Calgary - Lethbridge series.

The Cheaterhawks have eliminated the Silvertips winning 4-2 in game 7. Meanwhile in Spokane, the Royals and Chiefs are going to OT in game 6 tied at 4-4.

One OT period is not enough.

Edit: Spokane wins in double OT and will play the Cheaterhawks in the Western Conference final.

I was actually rooting for Portland in this one. I need a shower.

Fun game. Both games I went to in this series went double ot. Not looking forward to getting up for work in 5 hours lol.

With Lethbridge's victory over Calgary it'll be 2 pairs of old school rivals battling for their respective conference championships. You love to see it.

Should Spokane beat Portland, Medicine Hat would be the most exciting match up, but OTOH both times the Chiefs won the Memorial Cup they beat Lethbridge in the finals. Regardless gotta get past Portland first, they're playing very well right now. They score a ton of goals and D is not Spokane's strength.

Tigers have never beaten the Hurricanes in the playoffs (0-2) although I'm pretty sure in the 70's that the Tigers defeated the Lethbridge Broncos in a playoff series. I think Hurricanes goalie Jackson Unger is the most important player in this series (yes, even over McKenna), he has the ability to steal a game or two. That said, the Hurricanes are battling some injuries to key players and there's a chance that the Tigers might get Andrew Basha back at some point in this series.

I guess that's a roundabout way to say that I think the Tigers should win, but it will be a close series (6 games at least).

The most surprising part of that to me is that the Tigers and Hurricanes have only ever played twice in the playoffs. This will be the 13th series between Spokane and Portland.

I agree, both series are gonna be hard fought and I expect both will go at least 6 games.
