Reschny not returning to the Royals certainly doesn't help the Royals chances next season.

That's a real shame, some good kids on that list and yeah, Reschny gave the Chiefs fits in the playoffs. I don't know what could possibly be done, but something needs to happen to stop this. A kid just leaving is one thing, but you know for a lot of these money is probably the deciding factor. The whole NIL thing has been terrible for college sports IMO. Not that I don't think kids should be compensated, but the fact that there's been zero regulations.

Edit: looks like Verhoeff is also leaving the Royals and joining Reschny at North Dakota. Yikes.
