DH was not a high pick. He was pick 15. how is that high? Rg3 example is totally different b/c we gave up huge draft capital. Of course the Rg3 injury made him a different player. He was a running QB. You know Qb's always get overvalued on draft day. Look at Johhny Maizel he was a first round pick. When its a QB teams go crazy. Look at the Eagles when they traded up for Wentz. Wentz was from a small school and raw but the Eagles who NEEDED a QB gave up draft capital to get their QB. My point is when teams need a qb they go nuts to try to acquire them.

Im proving teams go bananas for Qb's in the draft. Whether its trade ups or over drafts. Jones has the highest QBR in college football history against élite competition but he is not a first round pick? So why would taking Jones at 19 or early 20's if we win an overdraft or reach?

Again so what ? Is the talent worth the pick ? Do we keep doing stupid things just because ? Do you know how many qbs did it vs “ elite “ competition and fail ? Who is the driver of that success the qb or the surrounding talent

Of course anything is a risk but other teams made even risker picks with Qb's How is it stupid? Being stupid would be taking a d-lineman in the first round.

answer is yes . the BPA at a position of need first if there is value there . if not you move to the next need . if you cant get value at any of your positions of need you take the BPA on the board .

i agree on Stafford. This defense is too good to wait for a rookie to develop so bring in an accomplished vet to lead this team.

We still drafted Charles in the 4th round last year. Plus Lucas is playing well. I don't see why would go OT. There are 1st round Lbs in this draft. Qb, Wr, and Lb are the top 3 needs right now. Getting Stafford would makes us an immediate contender.

pick the best player at a position of need that gets you value . qb doesnt do that , wr lb te does, o/line can be picked if there is value there because we dont know about charles or what position he will play on the o/line

this is why i am sceptical of mac jones . imagine picking the next john parker wilson or greg mcelvoy at 19 . now picking him in round 2 doesnt sting as much
