My guess is that most owners are not really following the progress of the draft. The banter is only between a few. They're probably checking the Hoop only to see if they have a mention so as to pick. Because if they were following, most of these guys could have picked and been done in round 3 with all of the banter and thread offers being mentioned.

Or maybe, just maybe the other owners are dragging this out deliberately. Maybe they are hoping in the next day or two that Drew Brees, Edelman, Beastmode and Andrew Luck come out of retirement.

Just a guess.
