My non-Westbrook takeaway from that game was Giddey is a baller. OKC got a steal.

It’s crazy how two players can total change the entire team. Rubio and Mobley. I remember Edwards praising Rubio last year and for good reason. That being said, this is the best I’ve seen Rubio play and I think he fits the team perfectly. Plus he is a mentor for the young guards. And Mobley I don’t even know what to see say, 5 games in and it’s already to the point where he is a lockdown defender and great help defender. I mean for his age it’s crazy. He is just scratching the surface as far as is offensive game. He is extremely unselfish

He's a coaches kid, so his knowledge and understanding of the game is likely more advanced than most rookies.
