It’s crazy how two players can total change the entire team. Rubio and Mobley. I remember Edwards praising Rubio last year and for good reason. That being said, this is the best I’ve seen Rubio play and I think he fits the team perfectly. Plus he is a mentor for the young guards. And Mobley I don’t even know what to see say, 5 games in and it’s already to the point where he is a lockdown defender and great help defender. I mean for his age it’s crazy. He is just scratching the surface as far as is offensive game. He is extremely unselfish

Offseason and training camp with the team probably helped Allen, as well.

Kid had a hell of a game on the offensive end, but most impressed last night with his hustle. A number of steals and offensive rebounds. was all over the place.

also, with more talent around him does not seem to he holding the ball nearly as much and gets rid of it quicker or takes it to hoop and shoots/passes. does have the occasional time still where he turns it over or makes bad pass going to hoop.

He's a coaches kid, so his knowledge and understanding of the game is likely more advanced than most rookies.

Heard his dad for the first time as he was interviewed during the game. Can see why this kid gets it at such a young age.

And then there was the Lakers 26-point collapse in OKC. The thing about Westbrook is he has two stats that are horrible and may be contributing to his penchant for bad passes and high TO rates that everyone ignores. Those being the PER and the TPA. Westbrook is near the bottom in both categories,

In OKC, the Lakers came-out in the third quarter and scored 19 points aftyer scoring 72 points for the first half. OKC returned the favor of the first quarter scoring 41. Then the fourth came and the Lakers, who looked like they went home in the third, totally died and could not hit a basket with 6 minutes remaining. Everyone was missing shots even AD and nobody on the Lakers side was playing any recognizable defense.

There just is no logical reason for players who are suppose to know how to handle this situation should lose to an 0-4 team but they did and they did it with complete dogshit quality. Now pundits are suggesting Vogel be placed on the hotseat. What a game.

DJ suggested the Lakers send Westbrook to Sacramento for Hield. I'd go for that trade but I doubt the Kings would.

Based on what? He has never been an above average starter before this season. They do not have a crystal ball.

He's the best player on the team right now. He is ballin but he made a huge jump this year

He's made a huge jump this year but it's only been a handful of games. I can see why they offered him that contract

The extensions Charlotte gave to MKG and Zeller did not work out so well. I can't necessarily blame them too much for erring on the side of caution with a player who until very recently looked to have the ceiling of a nice all-around role player.

Just be happy for him if you like him. He is on his way to betting on himself paying off.

Very early yet, but they do seem to be better.

Apparently the Laker castoffs are fitting pretty well in DC. Kuzma has been better than expected too.
