Doc ran 48 minutes of Milsap/Jordan and left Bassey on the bench. Perfect night to give dude some run. Instead he got further confirmation that Jordan and Milsap are cooked. But more positives out of tonight than negatives.

Love has a ton of charges this year but he knew mid way he couldn’t go anywhere else

huge game thursday in Toronto.

Win and you are basically 3 up due to H2H tiebreaker with 8 games left and almost would have a top 6 seed locked up.

Lose and IMO you are ending up 7th vs Brooklyn.

Not likely. Cavs have a nice young core and potential (2 already realized) All Stars in Mobley, Garland, and Allen. They’re making better moves than the Lakers these days. Tough projection you’re making.

Sixers Bucks and Celtics all floating at 2.5 back at 2,3,4 seeds. It will be interesting to see how that shakes out here in the last dozen games or so.

Sixers Bucks and Celtics all floating at 2.5 back at 2,3,4 seeds. It will be interesting to see how that shakes out here in the last dozen games or so.

4 seed is where it is at IMO. You likely avoid the Nets and Raptors and get to play the Bulls in round 1 which is probably the next best thing if you are not playing Cleveland/Charlotte/Atlanta

That thing had been giving him problems. Guy just can’t catch a break. He’s quietly having his best season as a pro. He’s gotten exposed a little bit as a defender because of it but that ankle can’t help on that front.

4 seed is where it is at IMO. You likely avoid the Nets and Raptors and get to play the Bulls in round 1 which is probably the next best thing if you are not playing Cleveland/Charlotte/Atlanta

I think it’s a different formula for each team because the East is very competitive but lacks a juggernaut. That situation comes down to how teams matchup. For the Sixers:
1. Nets (fully loaded)
2. Heat
3. Bucks
4. Celtics
5. Raptors
6. Cavs with Jarrett Allen back
7. Hawks
8. Bulls
9. Hornets

So for me, I think Sixers slot best at 3.

That gives them Cavs/Bulls/Raptors
Then of that Big 3, the team I think Sixers match up best against in Bucks for second round. The Nets are a fluid situation for where they will slot making this harder. If they get to the 2 seed there’s a legit threat their path is Nets, Bucks, Heat. That’s them having to play the three squads I think they have the toughest match ups with to get out of the East.

The best path for Sixers would be:
1. 3 seed
2. 1 seed
3. 4 seed
4. 2 seed

Incorrect. Without Lebron, they'd still be built around their lottery picks from before Lebron, wouldn't have traded for AD or Westbrook and would've still had all their 1st round picks over the past few years (one of which was reportedly going to be Garland).
