Garland in March-

27, 10 and 4 been unreal.
Did you catch the recent article by Fedor on team chemistry? Must read if you haven't seen it.

One point was made on Garland.....he's the clear star of the team and his teammates know it. No animosity of someone thinking it should be him, and Garland still plays team ball.

Mobley has been stepping up too. Mark has been playing great, it needs to continue. I could see a letdown vs Detroit, they play the Cavs good and they have been playing better
Man we can never make it easy against that team.

no doubt about it. With Allen out- Mobley has gotten a lot more volume.

kid is 20 years old...this month he has been going 17-9-2.5, 1.5 - and playing near all nba defense.

gotta mention Okoro and Markkanen too. Each has their games where they arent major parts of the offense--- but nights like tonight were Markannen goes for 31-10 are pretty awesome. 3 assists 4 steals too. Markannen is only 24 too- not near his prime yet. That ended up being a good trade for Nance- as much as i like Nance and his game and intangibles.

You have said it a few times- but if Okoro can stay consistent hitting that 3 pt shot- and continue to improve- he is going to be a very nice player too. That defense, cutting ability- add some shooting to that and you really have something

been a really fun Cavs year- and its fun to watch these guys grow--- and its even better knowing they will only continue to improve.

Awesome that this core should all be around a while too. Mobley, Garland, Okoro, Markkanen arent going anywhere.
Saw this a few days ago so not sure what it is now but saw that Okoro was hitting 41% from 3 over last 35 games.

Forgot allen as part of the core.

This has always been a kind of odd talking point for me. What do Tobias Harris and Tyrese Maxey have to do with Joel Embiid being a better basketball player than Jokic?
I mean, you took a victory lap because of Jokic's plus/minus. That tends to be worse when you play with lesser players than not.

I mean, he might be the next Greg Oden
Sometimes players can't get healthy, it's not really something that can be foreseen by a team. But sure, he might be a bust.
I feel for the kid if that happens. Not the fault of the team or the player. But it sucks.

Sure, and that's also why they didn't take LaMelo, who is obviously the better player right now. Didn't fit. But it would be nice if Wiseman can develop to his potential even if it doesnt help them this year. Kuminga, Moody, and Wiseman could be the new big 3 in a few years

The little he's played this year in the G league he has looked good, bulked up, moving well, etc.
sometimes you need to look past fit. My team a perfect example. Did not look past fit and got burnt (passed on Lillard with Kyrie) then looked past it and it paid off (took Garland with sexton on the team). Have to think Ball fit better on your team that it would have appeared Garland would with Sexton.

But is fair to point out could not have known he'd get hurt.

Lakers vs Cavs on Monday. Should be fun.

Vogel needs to use Howard, unlike last night when Porzy torched us. SMH.
Seems to be the trend getting guys back from injury vs. the Cavs....Will AD be returning?

I think tonight is a perfect night to rest Embiid with a back to back with Heat tomorrow. Give Bassey his start and see what you have with him rim running with Harden.
Not if you want the cavs in the 6 seed.

Thunder lose rd 1 of the tank series with Orlando this week. Now just have 1 more win than both Orlando and Detroit.

i dont understand this

but for the record, Garland is probably the youngest and best player there.

What is there to understand. You basically choose your top 3 and the player you don't choose is the answer

Also i don't know if Garland is the best there. I personally would go with Murray
