Mobley has been stepping up too. Mark has been playing great, it needs to continue. I could see a letdown vs Detroit, they play the Cavs good and they have been playing better
no doubt about it. With Allen out- Mobley has gotten a lot more volume.

kid is 20 years old...this month he has been going 17-9-2.5, 1.5 - and playing near all nba defense.

gotta mention Okoro and Markkanen too. Each has their games where they arent major parts of the offense--- but nights like tonight were Markannen goes for 31-10 are pretty awesome. 3 assists 4 steals too. Markannen is only 24 too- not near his prime yet. That ended up being a good trade for Nance- as much as i like Nance and his game and intangibles.

You have said it a few times- but if Okoro can stay consistent hitting that 3 pt shot- and continue to improve- he is going to be a very nice player too. That defense, cutting ability- add some shooting to that and you really have something

been a really fun Cavs year- and its fun to watch these guys grow--- and its even better knowing they will only continue to improve.

Awesome that this core should all be around a while too. Mobley, Garland, Okoro, Markkanen arent going anywhere.

Big road win last night.

RW with the clutch defense down the stretch and the dagger 3 to send it to OT. Could have been the reason we lost but came up big with those 2 events.

I like Embiid for it also but you have to factor in Jokic is playing without a few starters.

Tough to carry a team by yourself.
Embiid played most of the year without Harden and never with Simmons

So I can’t disagree with a player now?

Yeah, I disagree with Draymond here. What I am suggesting is that what he did by rule is a foul, and in my opinion it is a dangerous play.

The only difference is that basketball culture accepts that play today because guys are taught blind hustle at all times.

All it takes is a couple more stars getting rolled up on, and those plays will get legislated out of the game. Just like has happened with other play types in the game that have commonly led to injuries.

You are a piece of work man.

I'm gonna take the word of a current NBAer that has three rings and not the word of someone that thinks no matter what he's always right. That play wasn't dirty. Yet you seem to be the only person that thinks it was. You're one funny fella.

No doubt Embiid has a better supporting cast at this point. But I think Embiid will take the MVP, because he is due for one, and because he was clearly way ahead of everyone statistically speaking before the Harden trade. It may get tighter now but I still think he wins it. And he is still posting very strong numbers every night--and winning a fair amount--after the trade.

Last night's win against Dallas was one of their better all-around showings in recent weeks. The Sixers do a good job on Doncic for whatever reason. Before it was Simmons, but last night it was Thybulle and a zone defense look part of the time that seemed to help slow Doncic down a bit.

Jokic played most of the year without the 2nd AND 3rd best player. Embiid had Harris all year

And Maxey

Who has probably become better than anyone currently playing with Jokic.

Will Barton is solid, but not as your second best player.
This has always been a kind of odd talking point for me. What do Tobias Harris and Tyrese Maxey have to do with Joel Embiid being a better basketball player than Jokic?

The fact that he is likely to lead the league in scoring being the first 5 to do that in over 20 years is likely enough to claim him his first MVP award. The league has changed so this feat is pretty impressive.
