In fairness, lot's of people expressed that sentiment because they wrote off last season as a fluke for both teams.

It wasnt.

The Suns are one seed higher and the Lakers are again headed for the play in, with their 2nd best player in Street clothes.

With that being said, Davis should really remain silent.

Next to decimating their depth for a ill fitting Westbrook, he is the biggest reason the Lakers suck.

He's chronically broken and can't be depended on.

Exactly. Melo has actually been fine for what he is. The rest of the team is so bad around him though it just makes it seem worse. Like if you took the Lakers squad from last year and inserted Melo, no one would say what an awful signing it was.

It's because they don't want to play for Vogel and are over it. It's long been that way. Should have fired his ass back in November. I don't know why reporters keep asking them stuff like this. They clearly don't try and have no interest in playing hard at least 70% of the time.
