It's not just that for me.

My biggest issue is these types of losses don't seem to bother him.

That's a blessing and a curse.

On one hand, he doesn't wallow and carry it to the next game.

But, the optics....

Shit like this would bother me if he played for my team.

Yeah, most players, especially star players will try to stay calm after a loss like that. But you can still tell that it bothers them. Harden genuinely seems like it doesn't bother him.

Projections to PER36 for role players aren't to be relied on, but his are 15ppg/15rpg for his 3 years thus far (17.3/13 this year).
Not much of a sample size rookie year and this year but in OKC he got steady minutes and he was productive. I can't say I watched him though. He put up 9, 9 and 1 block in 21 minutes...that in itself gives hope for the kid.

Maybe @thunderc as more insight on Moses.

I think honestly it's a bit unfair to criticize these guys for having a good time after a loss. I mean how many of us go out and have fun after a rough day at work? It's kind of a reset. Unfortunately these guys are on a different level of fame so everything they do is scrutinized.

But yeah, I get the optics part. It's just tough.

Fair point. We don’t know that life. You only go this way but once in life and I don’t want to begrudge another man the fruits of his labor. At the same time, James needs to close or it’s this stuff that will continue to fuel that narrative.

He does it every night.

After a win.

After a loss.

Missing games for injury.

After getting knocked out of the playoffs.

It reads like he doesn't care.

Good rebounder who takes up space but a very limited offensive player, most all his points came on clean ups. Shot pretty good at the foul line when he got there though. I don’t know a lot about him, but was surprised when the Thunder let him go so cheap. He is very long and fits the bill for the kind of guy Presti usually likes so he must not have seen much in the way of upside in my opinion.

Is it me or does Harden disappear in big games?

He was awful last night. 3-17 & a +/- of -30. Yeah I know Embiid had a bad game too. But Embiid's never forced his way outta town twice. And hasn't had the playoff no-show's that Harden's had in the past.
He does.

Not all the time.

But, when it does happen, he's so overly disinterested that it's kinda jarring.

I'll never say this team cannot pull it out but I don't like them tonight.....especially if Heat are fully loaded.

It's gonna be a tough one for sure.

I would do it if that's what they want to offer. He can be a 25 ppg scorer as a starter and he is the best offensive player on the team
I mean you can't let him walk but I would offer a little lower. I think he would accept less for the team and salaries purposes.
