No Chris Jent mention, who I believe has 2 rings?

Holy shit Chris Jent. Now there's a name from the past. Forgot about him. Had to look the info up. He has one ring, '94 with Houston. Somehow he made the playoff roster but only played 3 regular season game. Spent '95 & '96 overseas then played 3 games with the Knicks in '97

So EmBeard went 3-0 in their mini preseason. Now it gets real. Cavs, Heat, Bulls, Nets for their next 4. I would be pleased with a 3-1 in that stretch. That Heat situation is a tough spot. Play in Philly Friday, get on the plane and down to Miami for Saturday. Heat catch a nice advantage here. Sixers and Heat have two more matchups and Sixers are on a 2nd night of a back to back both times.
Way we're playing have to think Cavs game a lock for them.

Why was the CP3 signing the answer in Houston? Harden needs the ball in his hands to be effective. So does CP3. It was already a flawed creation. Now, if you tell me that Harden is the guy who drove the CP3 to Rockets push that’s a different story. I don’t recall it going that way. Morey was looking for an impact guy and all he could land was CP3.
They battled possibly the best team ever to 7 games, that team was legit. Harden definitely screwed up that situation, they were a very dangerous team. It wasn't ideal but it worked in their system...nobody can deny that. Just bc Harden didn't push for a guy to his team doesn't mean he wasn't the issue trying to force him out and that's exactly what he did, 100%. If CP3 doesn't get hurt, they win a title and maybe more...yes, that was realistic too.

Yeah but if I remember correctly he was all for going to Brooklyn. I get Kyrie is a looney and all covid shit happened so a little different circumstance there.

From what I remember, Harden wanted to go there and KD wanted him there, but Kyrie didn't.

Still a tough game. But they are catching the Cavs at the right time.
Man you are not kidding.

Wish I knew what's up on our end. Maybe @Shanemansj13 or @WiggyRuss have a clue but I sure don't.

Yes, we were dealing with a tone of injuries but we are back to where we were without only Sexton and Rubio and we played really well for a while without just those 2. Even when Garland plays we still have not been able to put teams away and have struggled against some lesser teams even at home.

Worse is the D - which had been solid no matter who was out - has been struggling.

Maybe it's just young guys who have hit a bump. Maybe teams have figured us out ands we have to adjust. Still time, though.

A lot of factors and theories, too many to name. Could just be hitting a wall but not getting to play together more than a little stretch isn't helping. Energy and focus seems to be off too which is typical for a young team.

It's entertaining. People call AD glass but he averages 60 games a season.

About the same as KD (920 games in 15 seasons) but you don't hear people calling him injury prone or glass.....

The Laker hate is real.

I don’t complain about that. I think it makes a ton of sense. The Rockets built their team around a 6’7’’ center position. They kept trying to pair him with another ball handler like CP3 or Russ. It didn’t work. The Rockets were blowing it up and he was getting older. People use leverage in business all the time. This is no different.

It DID a work though.

They were a quarter away from beating an all time great team and winning a title.

Then they chose to blow it up because CP3 and Harden didn’t get along.

KD had 2 significant injuries that led to him missing most/all of a season. Problem with AD is he miss lots of games for injuries that doesn't seem too major. Kd tore his Achilles and ACL

Jordan to the Sixers @fightinfunbags
Boooooo! Dude is trash now. At the same time, I’m not gonna lose my shit over a dude that will only play 8-10 minutes a game. Harden can make just about anyone work at the 5 and he should get all his minutes with Harden. I still think the Sixers had a better internal answer here with Bassey.

10-12 mpg ain't that bad.

He can rebound and play some defense, not like he will be starting or playing 20 plus mpg.
