There is no doubt you are biased against Embiid.

DeRozan over Jokic is a bit of a head scratcher though for you. DeRozan has a lot more help than Jokic or Embiid. Really not close. At least until Harden arrives in Philly.
I just think Jokic set his precedent last year. And knowing how fans today frown upon Nash’s back-to-back MVP’s from back in the day (large market frontrunners as those people are), I think it will ultimately be enough to sway voters away from Jokic this year.

Not gonna lie, Sixers have looked bad since the trade. They miss Curry and Drummond.

TBH I didn’t realize he even played the other night given the Celtics beat them by 48.

Maybe I’m biased with Chicago being my nearest NBA city, but I’m just not in favor of rewarding perpetual whiners like Embiid, no matter how talented or successful.
You call him a whiner because ever since he has come into the league he’s run a train on your squad’s Bigs who need to hack him to handle him.

They are up, 69-61.

When I posted that they were struggling. Then they ran everything through Embiid and Maxey and had a huge run.

I know those guys can play! Still concerned about the depth though. I don't think Millsap is it at backup C. If it is not Paul Reed they may want to try Charles Bassey who is a pretty talented rookie, but more of an old school defensive center.

Perhaps more importantly, this team needs to run the offense through Embiid, Harden and Maxey, in that order. Tobias Harris is trash and they need to treat him as a nonfactor after the break in terms of the called plays, even if he has a large contract.

That is why I think Embiid will get it.

If it is close, benefit of the doubt goes to the player who hasn’t won it.

It is very close between Embiid and Jokic.

DeRozan just not on that level as a candidate.

Jokic is getting plenty of respect. He is right there in the thick of the race. What more do you want? Bs excuses, if he wins it he earns it. If he doesn’t Embiid or another player just played better

45 or more in 3 of his last 4 games

If Luka gets that Mavs team a top 4 seed then he is a top 3 candidate

I have no idea how the Heat won that game but they did it. Top 5 win of the season.

Had no business winning that game
