DeRozan has 6 straight games of at least 35points on 50% or better.....never been done before in Bulls history.

In the last 10 games he's putting up 38.3ppg, 6.2apg and 5.9rpg.

AD isn't a #1. Lakers going to be in some trouble when bron leaves. Trading AD in the summer when his trade value is still high makes sense instead of waiting for 2 years
But what can they get for him..Lillard is best case

Not that I think there is a chance that the Lakers will trade AD but if they were going to trade him next year it would be because Lebron retired and they decided to completely blow it all up. Try and stock pile draft picks and/or young players.

Yeah good point but I would put it on the table this summer. If you don’t like the return then you keep him for now
I think Poryland would absolutely do it for AD. They have Simons, I could see that being realistic I just dont see LA doing it

Like they ain't in trouble NOW lol. But I hear what you're saying. agree as #1 guy and team leader he ain't there yet, and honestly I doubt he ever will be. He simply doesn't have that mindset...

Agree. I don't think the Lakers should trade him because when he's healthy, he's arguably the best #2 in the league. I'd rather see the Lakers use the cap space that will be created when Lebron and Westbrooks deals are off the books to try to bring in a #1 via FA. Then plug in solid role players around them.

This is why I’ll go to my grave convinced that in the end all it would have taken was Simmons Green and Jaden Springer as salary filler. Nets needed to get him out regardless. He was practicing scorched earth.

I mean- I think you have to run it back with LeBron one more year

what are you going to trade AD for that will give LeBron a chance to compete? I dont think you can trade him for another star and get back equal value can you?

I think your options are---- run it back one more year---- or trade Bron and AD--- but you just cant do that.

if you trade AD it has to be for something that gives LeBron a chance--- do you think that deal is out there? I dont.

At this stage of his career...?

Dunno about that one...
Injuries have obviously caught up to him but right now we don't know what he can be bc he was dealing with this injury all year. He might only have a couple years left and I think he can get back to close to what he was...it would be worth the shot after seeing what he can offer after the injury. I don't think it happens, I think AD is there until Lebron is gone or retires..maybe even after too.

I think the issue there is that Lillard likes being in Portland

I think he would accept and thrive in LA---- but what about Davis? I dont think he would be happy in Portland and we already saw he is willing to sit out games if he is not happy with his situation.

If the Sixers get one ship out of Harden it will be well worth it but man, this guy is a joke

totally agree

I cant see them moving AD until LeBron either leaves or retires.

unless they got an offer they couldnt refuse--- which I just dont see. Even trading AD for Lillard- even if AD wouldnt pout- does Lillard and LeBron - with RW and the rest get you to a competitive position in the West? I dont know- but prob. not.

Lakers really boxed themselves in with the RW deal.
