I still lol at T lance every time I watch an NBA game that does not include the Knicks but includes former Knicks who he claimed were not NBA worthy….

I never said that.

You don’t know enough to grasp simple concepts.

You think that because JR Smith won a championship as a 5th option on the Cavs it validates that the Knicks had enough talent to win

JR was 1 or 2 on the Knicks. That is indicative of a bad roster.

You don’t know what you are saying.

well obviously

but between the Knicks and Cavs specifically.
There has to be some history here I don’t know about because this is one of the weirdest flexes I’ve seen. Who even invokes one of the most poorly run franchises in pro sports for a measuring stick?

to a normal human the answer would be easy i think.

I have been told that since the Knicks are in a bigger market they have a much bigger chance than the Cavs at winning another title.

nevermind ownership or scouting or players or coaches, etc.

With the way some people are talking about Cleveland, it is about time Cavs fans own up to the fact that if they don't win a series then this season is a failure....

They are a nice story. But they aren't built for playoff basketball.
Who goes the farthest in the playoffs, Memphis or the Cavs?

Depending on the health of a few teams out West....

I'd probably take Cleveland.

I'm not even talking about the LA teams.

Healthy Dallas and Denver could give the Grizz Hell in a 1st round matchup.

I mean expectations change for sure but they still were projected to win 25 wins, they lost Rubio (now traded) and Sexton. Plus injuries throughout the season to Garland and Lauri but still a game out BUT the East is loaded. It’s all going to depend on matchups and that goes for any team. The Cavs could realistically end up playing a healthy Nets squad with Kyrie 4/7 games. That isn’t a good matchup.

Tough one. Idk all about matchups. A lot can change but Memphis probably plays Denver/Dallas?
The East is so crazy anything can happen. They could get a 1 or 2 seed and have to play a healthy Nets squad or a dangerous Toronto or Boston team. It seems not one series will be easy in the East
