Honestly that's another issue with the sixers. They only want to give up Simmons while teams will want another player which complicate things even more

With the growth that Maxey has shown and the fact that he's 21 years old, it's not out of the realm of possibility that 2-3 years from now we see the Sixers didn't just send the best player in the deal, they sent the two best players in the deal. Maxey should be a piece they hold on to.

Bol averaged 2.6 ppg & 4.2 reb's. Laimbeer was a 4x A.S. that averaged 14.6 & 11.0. Wonder what would have happened with the Cavs had they not fired Chuck Daly & got rid of Laimbeer?

Gotta be more moving pieces though even if they don't move Maxey. It's just Morey probably wants it straight up but that is just not realistic imo.

I don't think anybody wants Harris and that contract. Thybulle? Maybe but people who scout him may be disappointed that he is a zero on offense. His 3 point percentage has actually gone down despite him apparently working on it.

Think it comes down to Ball, Allen or Brown.

Charlotte not having an All Star makes me think Ball is likely. Game is in Cleveland and Allen has been one of the, if not the best defender in the East, helps his case.

Brown is probably the most talented and the Celtics have been on a nice run lately.

Tough choice. Of course I hope its Allen.

Helping is being here as mentioned also if they feel like they want a true center (as West has 2-3 and east only has Embiid).

also wonder if Garland not playing is an option due to his own injury. I think he'll give it a go as only 15 minutes or so and not like he'd need to go all out....of course, also his first and no lock he goes to more.

He and Mobley look like cornerstones.

Memphis obviously have the best collection of young talent.

A case could be made the Cavs are number 2.

But, Atlanta, Bulls, Raptor fans might call cap.

I think Toronto is the 6th best team in the East right now.

Siakam, OG, Barnes, Van Fleet, Trent Jr is a legit starting 5.

Siakam has an All Star case. Van Vleet is a legit all star. OG and Trent can play. Barnes is a spectacular rookie.

Especially with Rubio and Sexton out- and Garland and Markkanen hurting- Raptors are better than the Cavs right now and probably still better even when Markkanen and Garland are back. Charlotte might be too.

Ball, and Bridges are both fringe- All Stars. Hayward is a good player. Rozier is good. Oubre a very solid 6th man. PJ Washington can play a little. They have assets to make a deal with Kai Jones and Bouknight if they want to.

Cavs need to make a deal if they want to make a push this year. Maybe thats not the right move either depending on the cost. I just hope they dont get pressured into a stupid deal and move Okoro or Osman, or trade their first for a marginal player.

Hard to disagree with this when it comes to Cavs as is (even with LM and Garland playing). No doubt garland needs another playmaker to help him.....and Toronto and Charlotte look pretty good.
