Problem is you can't pay all those players when due for contract extensions
depends what they are asking for.

Allen is alreay signed for 20M a year which isnt crazy. Sexton may go--- but Garland and Mobley- even if both are maxes- should have no problem getting them signed to the beginning level max deals. Okoro- depends. But you and I both know that Dan Gilbert has 36 billion dollars and has never shied away from spending on talent.

Hard to disagree much if someone says Memphis for that reason but it's more than just the top player.....and, sure, their next 3 are pretty damn good, too.
not only that- but before long Mobley might be right up there with Ja. Maybe not quite on Ja's level the way a guard cna dominate todays game- but up there.

guy paid maxes to Lebron, Love and Kyrie and near max to TT...as well as overpaid Shump and JR.

doesn't seem crazy to think he'll pay a max to Mobley and Garland if needed (Mobley should be, garland might be close). As you said already $20 mil to Allen which is way under his value. Will either pay Sexton a nice deal or trade him for a player or players making about that amount.

No clue what Okoro might get. I hope he can command a lot, though.

That really depends on Sexton…but with the injury he won’t get max or traded. No way Okoro is anywhere near max-role player money. That leaves Garland and Mobley with max slots and with the cap rising and Love off the books in 23-24 it is doable. Also, Markkanen probably won’t be a Cav by the time Mobley is up for his 1st payday. Who knows what the cap will look like too

Embiid 27
Maxey 21
Thybulle 24
All depends on Maxey’s development (which is look damn good) + who they acquire in the Simmons trade. No doubt they were in that too 3 category before Simmons rumors and turmoil

And don't forget Allen already signed next 4 seasons for what looks to be a bargain.

Kyrie with his step and turn around between the free throw line and top of the key.

Tatum is the guy who plays most like Kobe.

Obviously not nearly as good.
