The Lakers lost at home on Christmas day against a Nets team that is absolutely devastated by Covid. That was bad. Real bad.

The Lakers have had arguably the easiest schedule in the league and are 16-18 and look terrible and LeBron is playing huuuge minutes. Another 40 minute night tonight.

Looking very dark there. 4th year there for LeBron. This is usually when it starts to go downhill.

You will always find a way to somehow blame lebron lol

was not LeBron's fault- well the alley oop at the end. LeBron was the only reason they were in it.

RW going 4/20 was by far the main culprit--- but no one played any defense on Mills. Harden got his- which he is going to- but Patty Mills just kicked ass. LeBron cant play defense by himself. LeBron used to eat guys like Claxton for breakfast.

Main takeaways from that Lakers game.

Westbrook is still ass. He is not a player that helps you win. He's a stats guy and nothing more. He doesn't get it. Never liked the trade or him as a player (as I've said numerous times, sorry lol) but the Laker logic was if Lebron or AD is out, at least you'd still have a 2nd star out there to carry the load. Well guess what? He's failed to carry the load every chance. When Lebron was out, he couldn't carry the team. They were still bumbling average. With AD out now, he's still struggling. Lebron, at 37 years old, is still doing it all himself. He can't score unless its his way. He's low IQ and can't make the right play. Did you see towards the end of the game where he had Lebron and Melo wideass open for a 3 but he instead drove it into 3 players for a dunk attempt that got stuffed? And he got cooked by Patty Mills all game because he's not actually a good defensive player. He gets steals to stuff the stat sheet, but he's lost most times in team defensive concepts.

Other takeaway is cut one of those bums Rondo or Bazemore and sign Stanley Johnson rest of the season. Don't care if he can't shoot for shit. His energy was the most any player has had all season.

*bong rip*

I just solved everyone's problems. Make me a GM

Brooklyn gets someone they can play every game and gets off of that third eye Kyrie bullshit. Philly gets something of value for Ben Simmons. Lakers get a PG that is young and can defend. We'll figure the shooting out later.

They're currently on pace to have first round HCA in the east with one of the easier remaining schedules. They've had in rubbed against their faces for years that their franchise couldn't field a successful team without LeBron, and this is the season that's proving that theory wrong, at least during the Dan Gilbert ownership.

But, if you want to play the game of group labeling - I'm going to go ahead and say that all Lakers and Warriors fans living on the west coast are prissy snobs - A statement that's far more accurate anyway.

See how that works?
Lol why do you always jump to the rescue of Wiggy. He have some dirt on you we do t know about?

It's hard to be much better than 27-6 unless the 1995 version of MJ was coming out of retirement.
It’s almost like you’re actively trying to be obtuse. I used to think you knew hoops just had a disagreeing point of view. Now I can see you have no interest in the game itself. That’s a shame.

Whatever reason?

How many titles do the Lakers have?

How many titles do the Cavs have?

I have 17 reasons to think the Lakers will win before Cleveland post LeBron.
You do, eh? Even though most of the guys who put those title teams together are no longer there?

Hell, by that "logic" even after 1-31 I should have thought the Browns would get it together quickly with all those titles we had (not 17, of course but at least 8).

Has everything to do with the history of the franchise man.

No need to take that comment so personally.
Not personal at all. It's comical if anything. It's mostly about the Lakers that I thought it was kooky talk.

he does not understand that the advantages that had the Celtics and Lakers win so many titles have either disappeared or been severely mitigated in many different ways.

:hurt: You guys dont say enough nice things about the Cavs. You dont give them enough credit. - Cavs fans

I think the Cavs may be the only team whose fanbase is made up entirely of teenage girls.
If you are talking about what I think you are, the absurdity of his comment had much more to do with the Lakers than the Cavs and the idea he was so sure this Laker regime gives the impression they could rebuild quickly when Lebron goes.

Not sure anyone needed rescuing but think he might have been replying to someone who replied to something I said.

My original comment was how I thought it was nuts a poster said LA will right the ship quickly if they have to rebuild when Lebron goes when it took 7 years and getting Lebron to right the ship last time. Hard to be so sure they'd do it quicker without him going there next time.

Might they? sure....but not because they won a bunch of titles with smart guys who aren't there anymore. Many with a totally different CBA and landscape of the NBA.
