This Lakers team is straight up garbage.

They are running no offense whatsoever. Everything is a simple 2 man screen at the start of a possession with 3 guys standing around doing nothing and if that doesn't free anything up, it turns into an Iso with 4 guys standing around doing nothing.

They are totally disjointed on defense. No communication. Lazy effort. Most of them are lost and out of position.

This is beyond "we need time to get to know each other". A lot of this is a structural coaching issue. If this carries on for a couple more games, they should strongly consider firing Vogel.

Roster fit is problematic. Not enough shooting to be playing 2 man basketball with everyone else watching.

So you need to get creative with sets to counter that issue.

And the defense was never going to be good.

There is a lot of time, but this team doesn’t resemble a contender at the moment.

I don't think Klay would mind AD being there if he himself was in there too. But I see your point

AD is better than Klay. And Klay surely knows this.

He is still deserving of top 75.

Sixers finish last night was straight disgusting. The ball stopped moving on offense. Glad it’s only game 2 but last night revealed two poor conditions with the Sixers:
1. A Doc team puckered again
2. They have nobody to close on a consistent basis.

No idea why Embiid goes out with 2:30 left in the 3rd quarter and Doc doesn’t bring him back until 4:30 left in the 4th quarter when he has a plus plus matchup against Claxton/ Griffin/LA.

No idea the second one but the first, of course is a trick question
The National League always looked down on the upstart American League, so when the Boston Americans (soon to be the Red Sox) won the first World Series vs the NY Giants in 1903, the next year the Giants were petty and refused to play. But they decided to again in 1905 and won the first Series title the NL won.

Dammit! Was hoping I could trick you with that question about 1904. I didn't know the answer to the second question either without looking it up. Second answer is 1971. Although that year the Washington General were known as the N.J. Reds. Score was 100-99.

Well the Cavs don’t appear they are going to struggle in many games offensively this year.
so far seems to be the case.....The defensive struggles were expected with a roster littered with guys 20-24 who hadn't played much together, but didn't think they'd score like they have.

Now if they could stop turning it over in the 4th that would help....really surprised main culprit was the one vet they have in the backcourt (though overall he played a really nice game).

What the hell happened during the Lakers game last night?

Fan ejected from Staples Center after altercation with Lakers G Rajon Rondo

It's not clear what started the incident in the second half, but Rondo was seen making a finger gun gesture with his hand at the face of a fan sitting courtside. After doing it a few times, the fan was seen slapping Rondo's hand away.

Sounds like something Rondo would do. He better hope there was no video.

The article I mentioned has a short 6 second video. It's Rondo doing that finger-gun gesture in a fans face and nothing else.

I don’t think you could do that before everyone got so triggered

He is an average NBA player

Yeah, some Lakers fans kind of romanticize Kuzma and want to make him better than he is. I get why, but he's not a difference maker. He's a solid NBA player who can start for a lot of teams and get time in anyone's rotation. There a lot of those guys in the league.

The Westbrook deal was not a good one.
