Down 11. This one is likely over.

With PJ hurt, they need those guys back ASAP or have some guys test positive for covid so they can pause the Heat as well.

A 9 man roster with a 2 way player and Haslem isn't going to cut it. That is pretty much a 7 man roster.

They did a good job of winning games they weren't supposed to with this roster. Easy part of the schedule coming up so time to get healthy and not miss a major opportunity
It’s Detroit, no lead is safe

in a season like this where every roster spot counts might be time to send the mascot into the green pastures of retirement.

gotta give tons of credit to Lonzo Ball

first two years in the league he was helpless shooting wise

17-18: 30.5% from 3, 45.1% FT
18-19: 32.9% from 3, 41.7% FT

then he left LA

since then

19-20- 37.5% from 3, 56.6 % FT
20-21: 37.8% from 3, 78.1% FT
21-22: 42.1% from 3, 70.6% FT

he is shooting 42.1% from 3 and taking over 7 a game. Excellent.

I am actually rooting for the Lakers tonight. Think the Cavs are 2nd in the East if the Lakers win. Which would be really funny.

Glad to see Miami lose, Charlotte getting their brains beat in.

I am not religiously "scoreboard watching" in december- but if the Cavs are gonna make the playoffs they gotta be better than at least a few of the: Celtics, Heat, Hornets, Hawks, Raptors, Wizards, Sixers, Knicks.....

think CHI, MIL and BRK are the best in the East.

I will say- dont sleep on the Raptors

they are well coached and play together well as a team.

Siakam, Trent Jr., Barnes, OG, Van Fleet--- thats a very legit starting 5.

same with the Hornets

Ball, Rozier, Hayward, Bridges, Plumlee, with Oubre and PJ off the bench

people dont give much respect to the Hornets or Raptors but both are good teams with vets that know how to play the game. Siakam, Van Fleet are all star caliber players. Trent Jr. and OG are a solid offense/defense combo.

Ball is a stud. Bridges is going to get PAID. HAyward still knows how to play.

Um, because of the 'pressure' now he won't get as sick as he might have. Clown post.
not sure why so many people still do not understand that the vaccine, while it lessens your chance to get the virus, does not rule out you getting it

it does make sure you dont get as sick, significantly lessesn your chances of serious illness or death, and makes you less contagious, and makes you contagious for a shorter period of time. Seems like those are all good things

He's young as you love to say. Athletes never get sick from this
you say all the time how you dont want to lessen the attendance at arenas

if you have guys with the virus running around- you cant do that.

all of the data says that if you are vaccinated you test negative significantly quicker after getting the virus, and you are significantly less contagious. Those 2 things are crucial.

Well sports don't believe this otherwise they would not force players to be away for 10 days after testing positive

There's zero reason not to get vaccinated. Surprised you're taking this stance.

I changed my stance after the BS I'm seeing in sports the last 2-3 weeks. If the only reason they got vaccinated was for their job then everything the last few weeks shows getting vaccinated was a waste of their time.

actually they can get back quicker than 10 days if they have 2 negative tests- which having the vaccine would help you test negative quicker.

I know that but it not like this is happening that often. Most of the times players are out at least 10 days.

I can count on one hand the # of players who came back quickr than the 10 days.
