Didn't know you are a scout @raptorlife4

Did this scout just now have this realization? Even with his championships in different places, GM Lebron has had several questionable fit guys on his teams. It's no accident the team that had the best fit, the Heat, was the one where he had the least input. Riley ran the show because he's fucking Pat Riley

I'll go with Herro and Oubre
both those guys are great 6th man options

Rubio has done some great work too for the Cavs. In some ways I could make an argument that his leadership and ability to settle things down, teach the young guys- makes him the best bench player in the league thus far. I dont think the Cavs are sitting where they are at without him.

and as for danger......before the end of the season...if he keeps trending up and getting healthy and getting his game back- Kevin Love could easily be the most dangerous 6th man. almost 40% from 3. 96% from the FT line, 11.5 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists in 20 minutes per game.

NBA Rookie Rankings Thus Far:

What looks like an amazing rookie class.

1. Evan Mobley- Cavs- the defense, vision, athleticism. Biggest thing though- he is effecting winning far more than any other rookie. Top 20 player potential down the road- maybe higher.
2. Scottie Barnes- Raptors- looks like he is going to be a great all around player- can he be a #1 someday? maybe.
3. Cade Cunningham- Pistons- coming on big time. All the tools- can definitely be a #1 someday
4. Josh Giddey- OKC- bummer they didnt get a top 4 pick- but Giddey is a great consolation prize. I think he could be a #3 on a great team someday- maybe a #2.
5. Franz Wagner- ORL- getting a wing that can shoot, play some D, and make plays at the back end of the lotto is huge. What is his ceiling? #3 on a great team?
6. Alperen Sengun- Rockets- traded 2 future first rounders to get him. Looks great so far. Reminds me of sabonis somewhat.
7. Chris Duarte- Pacers- poor man's Klay Thompson in his future?
8. Davion Mitchell - SAC- another great guard. Have Fox, Haliburton and him. Can they trade Fox if they get a great offer? Fox for Simmons (and something?)
9. Jalen Green - tons of talent- so young. Still has work to do.
10. Jalen Suggs- tons of talent- but a lot of work to do as well

The Heat really didn’t have the best fit though.

The role players fit well, sure.

They had the most talent. By a lot. If they had the bet fit they would have won 4 titles.

I think the title team for the Lakers was 1 of LeBron’s best fitting rosters.

James had another phenomenal game last night.

30 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists and 3 blocks as the Lakers improved to 7-4 in their last 11 games.

You really think those guys command the same kind of a defensive presence as a healthy Klay? Cmon man.
Yeah, I do because no one really knows who Klay will be when he comes back. Also don't see the Warriors going with those four plus a big vs the Sixers and Embiid. You'll see three of Curry/Klay/Poole/Wiggins. You won't see 4 on the floor at the same time.

something funny?

Rubio would be BY FAR the Lakers best bench player- nad is precisely the type of player they need.

Terry Pluto- Cleveland's hall of fame basketball writer- calls Rubio a "savior" for the team.
You always said Rubio was trash.

How times change!!!!

as a bench player? Rubio is great

as a #1 or #2 that is more talented than Kyrie Irving? You had to have been out of your mind DJ

Suns? Who are the Suns going to give up. They would need to cover $15M and guys like McGee, Saric and Jalen Smith could be an option but I'm sure the Pacers could do better. The Kings could throw together a better offer imo

@WiggyRuss this isn't a rumor, just a question.

Would you trade Sexton, Markkenen + picks for Brandon Ingram? Just having a debate with Cavs fans. We all agreed we love the roster as constructed but if Sexton doesn't fit the mold he could be a guy out but if a guy like Ingram was available, who knows....I wouldn't include Okoro in the trade though
