What the hell happened to the Cavs in the 2nd half last night? They looked like two different teams. Incredible in the 1st half. But it doesn't matter how they won, just that they won.

No it's not. I posted Darius Garland's stats yesterday. They're very similar to Herro's.

The difference is Herro's playing for a better team with two all stars. What Garland's done so far is more impressive.

Missing shots, when you get up 30 on a team I’m sure you don’t play as hard and that shouldn’t be the case. That is something they need to work on but not too worried about it

People are allowed to have their own opinion which is why i didn't debate with @Shanemansj13 or @WiggyRuss when they said they have Garland. It isn't a slam dunk one way or the other

I think he could be Andre Iguadola level good of offense.

No way.

Iggy was an elite playmaker for a big wing. His basketball IQ is as high as literally anyone.

He might be able to match Iggy in terms of scoring, but not offensive impact.

Hell of a defender though.

It's like they took their foot off the gas and went into cruise control in the 2nd half. Wasn't expecting that.

People forget in his prime he was a #1 on a playoff team

Granted that was probably a reach. And honestly I was thinking more of his later years in GSW than his Philly years where he was more of the epitome of a 3 and D.

Definitely possible, a long way to go.

I’m hoping Okoro can morph into a better offensive player with a shot. He has all the skils. Not sure about Thybulle, is his offensive game even improving?

One of the advantages of the Lakers being old...too old to go clubbin' and get the Covid.

Plus, it's more dangerous for old people, so they're probably being extra careful. :heh:
James has been placed on the league long-term protocols because he continues to struggle with it even though he has been stuck several times.

what happened was they finally did what most teams do with a big lead and let up a big run. We've been spoiled by them this season. Will say was never a point I thought we'd lose the game.

Everyone likes to blame Lebron, but he's not the GM nor owns the team. If Pelinka is too weak to stand up to his stars then he doesn't dserve to be GM.
OK...but it can be both since right now both are there.

LEbron as the GM at age 30

you deal with

LeBron as the GM at age 37?

not so much.

He is going to beg Dan G. to come back to the Cavs sooner or later. lol

LeBron is dreaming of taking Okoro's job and playing with Garland, Allen, Mobley, Markkenen, and having Love, Rubio etc. coming off the bench.
to which Dan says "thanks, but no thanks".

Exactly. Basketball always has been and always will be a game of runs. Run out to a big lead on a team and it's virtually guaranteed that they will make some kind of run back. Sometimes it happens because the team with the big lead takes their foot of the gas, sometimes it happens because the coach leaves his starters out longer hoping to give them additional rest, sometimes it happens because even bad NBA teams have some of the best players in the world and aren't going to stop playing just because they are trailing by a lot.

Hopefully the Cavs don't have a 2nd half letdown again anytime soon.

7 Cavs in double figures

Love with 18 pts, 13 boards and 4 assists. Once in a while we see a flashback. Maybe he can work his way back into something more than just usefull....ya never know....the next 2 month calf pull could be around the corner--- or maybe- just maybe- something different.
At the very least he's a guy we want to keep around and not just deal to get his salary off the books.
