Yep. As were a great team but only managed one WS win. And they needed a literal earthquake to do it.

Yup. A's were awesome back then. I felt there was no way the Giants would beat them, but I felt the same way about the Dodgers and Reds and yet they both beat the A's easily.

It further stung because my brother was an A's fan when they swept the Giants, but he wasn't a die hard, and now I don't think he really cares about any sport except the NBA.

I always know when OJ was in the white Bronco because they were showing it live on the side during the Rockets/Knicks finals LOL

Yup. I remember that, but I think it was Rockets-Magic.

Edit: Looked it up. You're right.

Poor Rockets title teams. Overshadowed by OJ and Jordan's hiatus.
Can't feel too bad for 'em. Jordan's hiatus is a big reason why they won those.

And people will always feel that way, which is why I feel bad for them. There is always this unofficial asterisk on their back-to-back titles. Who knows, though? Maybe the truth is that Jordan was burnt out and the Rockets still win in those two seasons anyway even if Jordan had played.

Who won the 1904 World Series?

What year did the Washington Generals finally beat the Globetrotters ending their 2,495 game losing streak?

No idea the second one but the first, of course is a trick question
The National League always looked down on the upstart American League, so when the Boston Americans (soon to be the Red Sox) won the first World Series vs the NY Giants in 1903, the next year the Giants were petty and refused to play. But they decided to again in 1905 and won the first Series title the NL won.

Who is Jordan Schultz? Not questioning what you posted. A Suns fan wouldn't post something like this if there wasn't some truth behind it.
He’s an NBA insider for what it’s worth. I only trust Woj but where there’s smoke, there’s fire.

He also hosts a podcast with CJ McCollum.

Still hasn't been reported by anyone I've heard of...but it looks like the story is getting legs:

If he’s forced out I hope someone who loves basketball buys this damn team!
