The reason we lost this game BTW is that Doc Rivers decided it was OK to let Millsap get cooked for like 6 minutes by Giannis at one point instead of trying someone else. Giannis really heated up just outhustling the ancient Millsap down the court for easy buckets, and well, that is not a good idea.

I mean you are right but they had an opportunity to build a big lead earlier when up by double digits, and they screwed that up. That also matters.

Agreed but what are you going to do? You can’t play Embiid Harden 48 minutes. He staggered them earlier and it didn’t look good. Harden and Embiid are better together. The organization has fucked the back up 5 spot. They have better in Bassey and in BBall Paul and they double down on trash like Jordan and Milsap. Is that Doc or is that the organization? I really don’t know. All I know is that’s a huge hole that shouldn’t be the problem that it is but it is.

I am not. I’m fighting the undue emphasis on statistics and to that end, I’m pointing out the most glaring. Of course everyone agrees that Embiid is the better defensive player. That’s why I’m arguing with an emphasis on the defensive statistics that show these guys are close and in some instances Joker is supposed to be better according to the statistic.

Likely is driven by the difference in being a one on one defender or team defender.

I got the Spurs losing about 3 more which would leave them at 35-47 meaning Lakers would need to go 5-2 in their final 7 to get in
