If college football has no season which I am highly confident they will. But if not the NfL will have to make a change to the supplemental draft this. Who qualifies and the draft process of it. Mile High Huddle seems to be all over the supplemental aspect of the covid virus which is a huge topic but I remain confident this will be a non issue.

without a definite cancellation I don’t think they should. The rule is clear. Even if they do, there’s no loss of eligibility. Everyone is in the same boat and would get a free redshirt if they wanted to use it.

Agree unless college football definitely cancels the season than I don’t think this should be an issue. I get both sides of it but I think college will play so I am looking at it more from that lense.

the nfl didn’t help out La’el Collins.

How were they suppose to help Collins. His murder issue happened days before the draft. Throw him in the supplemental draft? Just curious what you would’ve done in his situation for him if you were the NFL. Take him out of the current draft and enter him in the supplemental draft after he has investigated? I’m just not sure they could do anything about that.

Yes.

He asked to withdraw, but he lost his eligibility by declaring and staying in past the deadline for what was a clear and maliciously false charge just to try and hurt him (which it did).

These kids made a conscious choice to stay for whatever reasons.

I don't feel that bad for them. Especially since, unlike basketball this year, they will not lose a year of eligibility.

For college football it is a little different because campus would have to be open to have any type of season. Opening any campus could cause COVID-19 to spread quickly. The NFL is in completely different situation. It is easier to isolate as only the teams are needed.

I hope there is a college football season, and we get back to having sports on the normal schedules. Not only because I am a sports fan but it will be a good sign for our society, our economy, and our mental health.
