Musgrove is good enough but their offense is brutal. The fact Moran has to start at 3B is just awful.

Also looks like Musgrove is going to have issues with the long ball.

I don't see this team winning 20 games.

Positives Keller didn't look bad in his first start and if they can make Cole Tucker a CF, it could make Heredia and Dyson sit on the bench. This is the perfect season to do this since it is a throw-away with no hope.

Moran is continuing to slug. He's still fairly young, so maybe he turns out to be better than expected.

Perhaps, he could be a viable option at 1B once Hayes is ready and Bell is inevitably dealt.

Regarding trying Tucker at CF, I do not think it matters much, as I do not see him hitting well enough to play every day.

They had their next Andy Van Slyke and traded him away.

Watching Austin Meadows playing with the Rays still pisses me off beyond belief.

Yeah lets not even get started on the Meadows deal that will hurt for many years to come.

As for Tucker I honestly don't think he will amount to much either but this is the year to prove it since they aren't winning. Putting Jarod Dyson and Heredia out there is pointless.

Moran is at most a compliment player, he can't be your best hitter. If he is, this team proves how bad they are.

Finally I can't believe it. The Pirates actually found a reliever worse than Neveranout! Del Bozo has no reason on any AA roster let along MLB roster.

Pirates, unfortunately are a major league farm team. Develop and give experience to players so the best ones can move on to their big contract(s) with contenders. The rest will stay and hang around to get their time in and make decent money then retire.

So it looks like Tucker will get everyday reps at CF and Alford (who they just claimed) will take an OF spot.

Well the pain is finally over and as expected less than 20 wins. Thankfully they ended with the worst record and sadly they could have blown that but too bad the Rangers ended with a 3 game winning streak.
