Nebraska currently has 10 commites for the 2020 class and probably will take somewhere between 22-24 prospects by the cycle's end. So who's on the big board right now? Let's take a look.

1. Omar Manning (4-Star, JUCO WR) [Kilgore, TX] - Manning has been a Nebraska lean for a little while now but keeps his recruitment fairly close to the vest. He visited officially in June and Nebraska has seen a steady up tick in his interest since then. Oregon seems to be the other player, but he hasn't visited. If Manning announces soon (or before the end of JUCO season) it will likely be to Nebraska.

2. Henry Gray (4-Star, DB) [Miami, FL] - Once thought to be a pretty significant Florida lean the visit to Nebraska for the Northern Illinois game changed this dramatically for Gray and his family. He has since cancelled his OV to Florida and looks like he might be committing to Nebraska some time soon. That's all projection on my part, but I do know that there is momentum here.

3. Kaden Johnson (4-Star, OLB) [Minneapolis, MN] - Johnson was a Minnesota lock, then a Wisconsin lock... then... nothing. He has yet to commit and it seems his interest in both Minnesota and Wisconsin has waned with Nebraska picking up some momentum. Proximity could be a factor here, and so could Wisconsin's run to start the season. But this seems to be shaping up into a 2 horse race and he already OV'd to Wisconsin in the Summer. Nebraska will host Johnson next weekend for the Ohio State game.

4. Myles Slusher (4-Star, DB) [Broken Arrow, OK] - Slusher has been an Oregon commit since May but recently visited Nebraska and that visit may have changed some things. Slusher has said he plans to use all 5 of his visits and that Oregon would be the last one but Nebraska has given him something to think about AND has an Oklahoma connection with current 2020 commit Sevion Morrison in the fold. This one will be interesting to watch going into December.

5. Darion Green-Warren (4-Star, DB) [Harbor City, CA] - Warren is one of those rare California guys that really seems to want to play in the B1G. Nebraska will get a visit, but so will Michigan and Penn State. Time will tell how serious he is about Nebraska but right now, it's a B1G race with maybe Georgia in the mix as well.

6. Brian George (4-Star, JUCO DB) [Belle Glade, FL] - George has been intrigued by Nebraska for a while but has yet to set up a visit. How much Nebraska wants a JUCO DB will have to do with how they feel about current depth at the position going into the 2020 season. Kentucky is a team to watch for here, but if Nebraska is going to make a move it will likely be after the season.

7. Jackson Bratton (4-Star, ILB) [Muscle Shoals, AL] - Bratton is a current teammate of Husker QB Commit Logan Smothers. He is also currently committed to Alabama. While it seems odd that Nebraska might flip a kid from Bama there is some smoke here and if the Huskers put on a good showing against Ohio State when he visits and Smothers continues to work on him, you could see a flip here. Bratton has not announced any intentions to OV anywhere else so it seems like if anyone can flip his commitment it would be Nebraska.

8. Dontae Manning (4-Star, DB) [Kansas City, MO] - Manning has unofficially visited Nebraska few times and at one point was committed to Oklahoma before backing off that commitment recently. Many people think that Texas A&M is the team to beat and I can't argue, but given the familiarity here Nebraska could be a long term play. The longer this goes with Manning not committing the more chance I give Nebraska's staff to get him on campus and try to play the proximity angle.

9. Choe Bryant-Strother (3-Star, ILB) [Norcross, GA] - Nebraska has made some hay in Georgia in recent memory and Strother could be one to seriously consider. He loved his Nebraska visit in the summer and keeps in regular contact with current commits. He's a hard prospect to get a read on but Nebraska feels good about their position with him. The question is... does he want to leave the south?

10. Regen Terry (3-Star, OLB) [Florence, AZ] - Nebraska did well in Arizona last season and Terry currently looks like one of their best bets this season. Nebraska will have to fight Boston College pretty hard on this one, but given the Eagles' struggles at the moment, if Addazio goes by the way side you could see the door open wide for a kid like Terry to go to Nebraska.

Names to watch: Tuli Tuipulotu, Rishard Densmore, Mister Williams, Paula Vaipulu, Cesar Reyes, Caleb McCullough, Kendrick Simpkens, Nusi Malani, Marquis Black, Rodney Groce Jr., Malik Berry

Heavy on the DB's. How many will they take if commitments start rolling in from them?

Cesar Reyes and a few others are in the names to know section that are OL... but considering they moved two DL recruits from last year (Piper and Banks) to the OL they don't feel the need to overstock that position. Likely they take one more OL.

As for DL, they have Hutmacher... Sekona is a name to keep an eye on if USC falls apart. Tuli Tuipulotu just visited, is a DE type (also in other names to know) Marquis Black is another DE name to know (in a 3-4, would be a DT in a 4-3). Big name to note is Xavier Carlton. 4-star kid from Utah that won't be deciding until December most likely. Nebraska likes him, is looking to get him to visit.

So there's some names. I didn't include them in the Big Board because right now they seem to be fringe... it's clear that Nebraska wants 1 or 2 more OL and 1 or 2 more DL, especially a NT.
