nice. i still have a pair of these in the garage somewhere.
I had a friend who loved them so much that he bought multiple sets when they were discontinued so he's have a lifetime supply.
Wonder how much of the shells are now made of duct tape.

i didn't like them as much, as I blocked a lot of shots. There was always gaps in the protection.
same could be said for my defense, come to think of it.

Not surprising seeing as the CHL really never had a plan in place, it was just start playing now and figure it out as we go, with no actually figuring anything out. Didn't even realize the OHL hadn't started yet. Don't see the point of playing at all when the playoffs typically would have started almost a month ago in a normal season lol.
