Tells you so much about how Jeanie does things. Kurt Rambis has been a failure at everything in his post-player career. Not just a failure, a spectacular failure. He has no business being involved in any franchise that has hopes of even being average much less winning anything.

I really have to ask, Lakers fans - is this worst than Jim Buss? Can you honestly tell me Jeannie's doing a better job than he did? At least Jim had Mitch Kupchak in place whom was actually a quality GM.

I'd rate it as worse because 1) Jim wasn't all that bad. I'm not saying he was good. He made some dumb moves but a lot of the hate driven by Jeanie's people leaking stories to the media to make him look worse. And 2) There was still a competent exec around in Mitch Kupcheck.

Right now, its just a full on shitshow. It was never that way before. Jeanie has lost complete control and is embarrassing the franchise more than anything so far.

Ideally the Warriors would never make the playoffs so you don't have to be stressed
At least I don’t have to stress now because the Warriors are huge underdogs now without Durant. They are supposed to lose so no stress

But I am seriously asking, would you prefer they don't make the playoffs at all, to avoid this stress?

Huge underdogs to who? They are less of a favorite, sure. In this series, this evens things up despite the Rockets needing to win the next two. Vs Denver/Portland, I see this as less of an issue (and we don't even know how severe Durant's injury is yet). Either way, I still see them as favorites over anyone if they can get one of two vs Houston. I think Durant's absence (if extended) will simply result in more emphasis on ball movement and better Curry production overall.

The Rockets. Missing their only consistent player the Warriors are in trouble

We don’t know how serious it is? Are you kidding? Despite the nonsense the Warriors are putting out, you could see immediately that it is an Achilles and he is done for this year and next

Any time someone is simply walking with no contact and it feels like they got kicked in the back of the leg, its achilles. He's done.

Again, this only confirms it's not given your track record

He's done but I suppose the bright side is we may see some urgency from the Warriors now instead of the disgraceful lacka daisical play we've seen when they have the Durant safety blanket over them.

This is one of those "no shit" stories. You don't even have to have a source tell you this. You can flat out make up your report and there's a 99% chance it'll be true. Like why the fuck wouldn't Lebron be trying to get Kawhi?
Right?

The thing is we all are so sure who's going where, we make lists where for many players we all agree and then the reality happens and guys tend to end up in surprising combinations. No one had Kawhi to Toronto, or Durant or Boogie to GS, or Porzingis to Dallas. So while some guys may end up exactly where expected, most will be a surprise and that's kind of fun
