2019 MLB Draft

I feel like if Bishop is there, he's the guy the Giants are taking. Call it a gut feeling. Just lines up too well with Zaidi's past preferences

From what I've read/heard, seems like the Giants are just going to take the best player available. This may sound obvious for a draft, but for the MLB draft it's really not, guys fall all the time for various reasons (usually signability). Sounds like the Giants will be where the buck stops for whoever falls.

*Typically, it's the high schoolers who fall so maybe Greene or Abrams

I think it would be 99% BPA. If Langeliers is BPA, I think they go SBPA.

You gotta figure whomever we get her in a couple hours will be inserted roughly as are new #2 prospect behind Bart. That should give us a solid top 4 prospects

FWIW, DrB currently has us taking Keoni Cavaco, a HS 3B. Doc isn’t a scout, but he is pretty good at taking the temp of all the published items and weighing that against his knowledge of the team in general.

Stott, the big name attached to us over the last couple weeks, seems to be getting mocked at about pick 5 the last day or so, so he doesn’t look likely to be available at #10.
