You didnt really think we were going to win last night, did you? We should have won, and won easily, but didnt. Just like we should have swept the Indians, but didnt. This team was good winning 2 out 0f 3, and it showed. Then, came in flat against an inferior team. Its why they wont win anything important. I keep waiting to see that killer drive to finish teams off, but the just cant seem to execute in clutch situations. Its not something you can just turn on and off. You either do it, or you dont. Too often, we dont. I dont even know how you address that.

But seriously, Cruz's only chance of getting on base in that situation last night was via a walk. He simply cant catch up to superior pitching. Its been that way all year. He has soo many RISP chances this season, and has struck out so often, its scary. He wont be the guy delivering big hits when it matters. And watch Polanco fall. That surprises me, because I really felt he was a legit 320 guy. Maybe its just a cold streak. Maybe it isnt. Seems to have lasted a little too long.

But HEY! Do we finally lose 3 in a row so I dont have to listen to Dick bring it up 20 times a game!
