We got the good Mr Rodgers. Excellent. Once Harper gets rocked, all those gaudy bullpen ERA's will be dead, except for Mr. Rodgers. He is probably the best that we have in the pen. The rest are pretenders. I really hope we don't live or die with the arms we have. Get us a real closer. Ship off a pretender or two to get us a reliable righty set up guy. Give us the tools to win it all.

I wish they would have went and got Kimbrel earlier, don't care about the draft pick, after the draft there will be other highly interested teams and the Twins don't win in those situations! Unless of course it's hockeys guy ByungHo Park...

Lynn has been better than Gibson this year he just has two really bad games.

Overall results are what matter tho!

Plus, Lynn has had a far better FIP to ERA for the last 1.5 years.

But at some point it just becomes a trend. 3 different teams.

If you have KGb bringing up a #4 or 5 spot in the rotation, you are a winner. But hey! We get to see Smeltzer go at it again. I am intrigued to see what he can do. I know, rookie and all of that....but still.

I don’t think Smeltzer will be the long term answer but he will have to due for the short term.

Dream scenario is Kimbrel and then another starter(hopefully Keuchel). That would then move Pineda to the pen where I think he’s much better suited right now.

So basically we’d gain 1 starter and 2 relievers.
