I call any Twins fan a friend but do you guys feel a little silly tearing on a team that has a chance to win 100 games?

Well, I see it like this. IF our starters could go more than 5 inning before they blow up, we would be better. IF our bull pen didnt blow soooo many games late, we would be better. IF we played better D, or hit with RISP, we would have a chance to win 110 games, if not more. I just wonder why we dont address the issues that have been apparent since the first of June.

And then I look at our production vrs the teams we are most likely to meet in the play offs and it doesnt look good for us. With the incredible power have, why not get serious about winning it all? You're gonna be heart broken when we get swept out in the first round. Me? I'm just gonna be mad...like i am most days watching this team fail to have a killer instinct. When we stop letting every team get back into any game, I with relax a bit and enjoy it. No game is won for this team, regardless of how many runs we score. Thats scary. We can always blow it.

Yes. A lot of the stats people throw out are from games where they are clobbering the other guys. They are real good at piling on. Its those clutch hits we lack. We get tons of opportunities...just need to come thru.
