We have a lot of big names out there for this class, and it's a really good talent rich class in the midwest... in Minnesota, Missouri, Iowa and Kansas. Not to mention two 4-star kids in Omaha... We're going to need to bring those guys in.

I'll have a way too early 2019 big board soon

You need to charge royalties. They would certainly charge you to put an N on something.

3 good looking in state guys to start the class... I know that we are looking at at least 2 maybe 3 more names in state. Hickman and Henrich might actually prove to be tough pulls out of Omaha.

9 of the 11 starters on the '95 offense were from Nebraska.

Granted facilities and Strength and Conditioning programs have caught up with Nebraska in the last 20 years, but a lot of that 70's 80's, 90's success came from being a well coached system and players with heart.
Frost is a 'system' guy. No reason Nebraska can't be competitive with teams who have great facilities, strength and conditioning, and are in recruiting hotbeds. Success comes with getting guys lined up properly and knowing their assignments.
The last 3 coaches have put mistake laden clusterfucks on the field.
Nebraska has beaten themselves more than they were beaten by opponents.
They haven't been losing to Iowa because Iowa is flashy or talented. They've lost to Iowa because Iowa has been better disciplined. They bore you to death, stay in their game, and let you fuck yourself.

That's what Nebraska was when Osborne was the HC. Well disciplined and didn't beat themselves. But Nebraska was able to recruit top talent on the defensive side of the ball and at QB and I-Back on offense. Iowa doesn't really even recruit top talent on both sides. Wisconsin does a better job at recruiting then Iowa does. If Frost and his staff can fix the discipline and coach these kids up to play fundamentally sound football. It shouldn't take more then three years to start winning the west. Nebraska will still be able to out recruit Iowa and Wisconsin at the skill positions.
