I agree. First season with Goretzka and him together now. Only one of the two should be being playing at one time. He is not that great. I think Bayern overpaid for Tolisso.

Pep should not have started Sane for the Community Shield match considering the negotiations. Obviously Pep didn’t think he’d get injured, but considering City was going to net ~€115MM, it was a poor decision to play Sane at all. This is a real bummer. Bayern put all their chips in the Sane basket, and now are without the ammo needed for a strong UCL run.Sane has ACL tear...so much for that deal. He who hesitates is lost...for all parties.

Not signing Pepe now looks awful.Yup. Now we are stuck with Davies and Sanches as backup wingers...lovely. Borussia Dortmund wins the Bundesliga with this front line. Bayern maybe 3rd with Leipzig and Naglesmann this season.
Lewandowksi nails it:
“We need three new players” – Lewandowski bemoans lack of Bayern transfer activity
blahIs this the backup plan now?

Agreed. Pretty bummed out about especially UCL prospects now.Woop Dee Doo....comments on that tweet were negative. The whole summer and Perisic is all we have to show? Good Hoeness is his way out the door.
BVB was scoreless at half the other day. Tough matches.Couple Bundesliga teams went down today in the Pokal. Mainz and Augsburg. Kaiserslautern pulled off one of the upsets. I think one of our posters here was a Kaiserslautern fan I thought.
Going to say it again. If you love soccer, purchase ESPN+ ASAP

Report: US Bundesliga Coverage Moving from FOX to ESPN in 2020
Viewership for Bundesliga wasn't was big as expected. Not enough Germans like me in USA I guess.
You definitely snagged some solid forwards and midfielders. Ginter (on Gladbach I believe), is a solid defender.Ok guys, while I love watching the Bundesliga (more entertaining than EPL IMO), I admit that I'm not as familiar with all of the players (other than the "big" names I mean). I just did a fantasy team on the Bundesliga site and wanted to get your thoughts:
Forwards: Timo Werner, Paco Alcacer, Kevin Volland
Midfield: Jadon Sancho, Max Eggestein, Emil Forsberg, Makato Hasebe, Jonathan de Guzman
Defenders: Dan-Axel Zagadou, Moussa Niakhate, Michael Lang, Mattias Ginter, Jeffery Gouweleeuw
Goal Keepers: Yann Sommer, Yvon Mvogo
Season starts Friday. Same top 4 last year will be top 4 this year.
Dortmund wins Bundesliga this season comfortably.
Leipzig second.
Bayern third....unless more signings in January.
Leverkusen fourth.
