2018 Soul 12 Draft Discussion Thread

Yeah...I definitely am worried that Clemson hasn't gone the stud WR route in a few years, but Higgins could be special enough. I was scrambling a bit with some of my top WR targets getting taken ahead of me. Had a few others I wanted to roll with, but felt like Higgins worth the gamble. There's no real sure things anymore at WR, at least obvious ones to me.

Hated drafting a Cornhusker, but expect Frost to pump up the passing game numbers and Morgan had pretty good totals last year.

Had targeted Jaylen Smith with my next pick. Injury was my concern with him. Last year he missed a few random games.

Love Lamb, love his ability. Not sure if Murray can pass or not yet as he couldn't at Texas A&M but Oklahoma and a year off probably will improve that.

Eno Benjamin was a guy I had pegged a bit later on. Didn't know where his draft status would be at in this league. One time Hawkeye commit. He has great talent. ASU OL has been pretty weak the last two years and would have had to do a bit more research on their returning OL to fully get into that situation. Just hadn't done it yet. He has good upside and really good person to boot. Usually you get the most out of those types.

Huge risk in taking Trevor Lawrence there. I just knew coming into the draft that I wanted to end up with him and I did it. I have put up passable teams when taking Jeremy Johnson in Round 1 so hopefully this reach won't kill my season. It's Q's year so nothing really matters anyway.
