Considering how young they are, I'd say it was a pretty dang good win! I might have underestimated this team. They might go bowling, after all.

The defense played out of its mind. Still concerns about the offense though. Even if we hadn't had that injury to our starting running back last night I'm not sure we move the ball much better than we did, which isn't going to be good enough against the better defenses of the Big Ten. For now I'm going to stick to my range of 3-4 wins. Purdue may be moving towards tossup status as a possible 5th win, but I still don't see 6 wins as possible with our schedule.

Nw just lost to Duke
Purdue isn't unbeatable

Rodney can redshirt this year, and we could have brooks and rodney back next year as RS Seniors

EDIT: Rodney has already red shirted. He'll need to be granted 6th year, considering injury happened in game 2, I'm guessing he'd get it if wants to pursue it

Gophers should move to 3-0. The next 3 following games don't look as promising

Indiana and Illinois should be wins

Purdue/NW/Nebraska should have a win in there, which if we get 1, puts as @ 6-6 and bowling.

The Iowa defense looked good vs Iowa State, Iowa will be favored and without Rodney my confidence is down, but would be nice to get floyd back

I think we get our asses handed to us.... but this is a REALLY young Gophers squad. A lot of freshman that will be starting.

Gophers played pretty competitively against OSU. I had to listen to it. Turnovers, missed FGs. Really hurt us.
