Toronto may not have anything to play for and Miami may fight harder? I could see Atlanta winning if Giannis rests. These games are toss ups: Denver/Portland, Warriors/Clippers (motivation), Celtics/Magic, Pistons/Hornets, Nets/Pacers.

I like the road-road Memphis-Dallas split, these last two games (Friday, Sunday).

We both got the Friday part right, but missed it on Sunday.

Dirk passes Wilt as NBA's 6th all-time scorer

I still wasn't sure if this season was really Dirk's last, because he had been a little vague about it.

But the noise is getting louder that this is his last season.

Tomorrow is Dirk's last home game. TNT should make that the first game of his double header.

Also, I'll repeat again that I was shocked that Duncan and Stockton retired when they did. They were both too good during their final seasons, for it to really be their final seasons.

Had I known that it was going to be Stockton's final season, and I had the ability to see games that I do now, I would have traveled to see him so I could at least see him in person once.

But Stockton didn't announce it until after the playoffs were over, and I didn't know he was going to retire.

Now I guess you understand why I hate Mark Jackson. Stockton would never say directly that that is the definite reason, but Jackson tried to tear the locker room apart and that was one of the major contributing factors to him not wanting to play anymore. It had become too political. It wasn’t fun anymore.

Mark's contract was only for one year though. He wasn't signed for 2003-2004, which Stockton could have still played.
