We now know who half the teams in the Memorial Cup will be. The host Halifax Mooseheads advanced to the Q finals today with a mild upset over the Drummondville Voltigeurs. That means the other finalist, The Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, will also be in the Memorial Cup. I've been cheering against Halifax but at least they won't be another host team with a long break before the tournament.

A couple gutsy performances by the Giants have knotted the WHL final at 3. Game 7 for all the marbles tomorrow night in Prince Albert.

That's a damn shame really. On another interesting note, Guelph won the OHL after trailing 2-0 in each of their last 3 series, including being down 3-1 to Saginaw and 3-0 to London. That's probably a first.
