I think he was going to flip even before this fiasco, he called Notre Dame "his best visit ever." I think this garbage at Baylor will just hasten it.

Well Corey Malone-Hatcher committed to Michigan, which wasn't a surprise. However, they're in desperate need of a pass rusher, so Beal is priority number 1.

I don't either, it's frustrating as hell. If only ND recruited on the DL half as well as they do on OL, they'd be set.

100% agree with that. Maybe Kelly needs to regroup at that position. Find a new plan on how to get those guys to come.

They should be doing more to sell Gilmore as a solid position coach. He's got a pretty good track record of getting unhearalded guys out of high school drafted in the NFL.

I mean I don't know how elite they are but Kareem and Hayes were very highly regarded last year which could be something holding them back a little this year who knows.

Hayes was a LB and has had some health issues, but he could be a stud DE. Kareem was a Bama recruit so you know he's got talent.

It depended on the site you looked at as to what they considered Hayes, and I think the coaching staff always viewed him more of a DE/Pass Rusher.

Whatever position he ends up at, it's pretty apparent that this kid has a ton of talent, if he can just stay healthy. I think I remember reading that he only played one full year in HS.

Injury was a part of it, but he transferred a lot too, if I recall, which hindered his eligibility. As far as raw physical ability, that is what got him 5*. I'd make the comparison to Aaron Lynch if he adds good weight. Hopefully he can keep his head about him and stick around at least 3 years.
