Was asked where Tennessee stands he said "They stand high and I like coach Mahoney a lot," Ross said. "He contacts me a lot on Twitter and we just planned a trip the week of May 6th to go down there for a visit. I like how coach Mo keeps in contact with me and that shows me he likes me. I see on Twitter and stuff that he has several offensive lineman over to his house and that makes things like a family."

"The location is great and Knoxville is an awesome place," Ross said. "They play in the best conference in college football and they are going to win.""I'm looking for a place that gives me the chance to play early if I'm ready to play," Ross said. "So playing time and then a place I can get a good education, a place that has good football and somewhere I feel most comfortable. The coaches are important to because I want to feel comfortable with who I'm playing for."

"We have discussed several scenarios (for his commitment date)," Ross said. "I've thought about doing it on my birthday in October, but I'm not sure.Once I commit somewhere that's where I'm going. I don't want to be that guy that jumps his commitment around several times."

Top-100 LB Justin Foster said Tennessee and Clemson are the two schools that he knows are in his top group right now. He is really familiar with both of them and has visited both schools several times, and he said they're pretty much even right now. But he admitted his family would like him to go to Clemson, where his sister currently is a student and is scheduled to graduate this spring.

Foster said he's hoping to go back to Tennessee earlier this summer. While he's not sure when he might make a decision, he said could decide a few months from now if he decides to be an early enrollee. If he decides not to be an early enrollee, he probably won't announce his choice until the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

"Tennessee has a very real shot with Akers. Tennessee has really impressed him and he loves the idea of being an early enrollee and taking over for Hurd and Kamara.

Ohio State, Georgia and Ole Miss are three programs very much involved as well. The Buckeyes feel like they are in there with Tennessee. I wouldn't sleep on LSU or FSU, either. They are making a strong run at him as well.

But, yes Tennessee is very much in play there right now."

“They’re probably going to be losing two really good running backs so someone is going to be able to come in and have a chance to play early on as a freshman. That’s really attractive,” Leak said.

Leake was one of the most impressive running backs in attendance at last week’s Rivals Camp Series stop in Charlotte. He displayed excellent speed and quickness but also showed as one of the most versatile players in the camp with his ability transition into a receiver. Leake is a crisp route runner with a solid pair of hands, a factor that college coaches have certainly taking note of.

“I think being versatile enough to catch the ball and be a part of the passing game, whether as a blocker or a receiver is very important,” Leake said. “I take that part of my game seriously, I don’t consider myself to be only a runner, I want to be thought of as a complete back.”

“They’re in my top three right now, it’s Tennessee, South Carolina and UNC, those are my favorites now,” Leake said of his leaders.
