The last 5* OT we lost to Sanferd sent us into a LT tail spin for the last 4-5 yrs until Gates came in, Feet was his name or something, plays in the big leagues now I hear

Omaha World Herald has javeon McQuitty hinting there is a new silent commit.

Unfortunately, I have used up my free access and googling it doesn't help me anymore.

It just says he was asked who he was going to room with and he said Keyshawn, Gebbia or someone he could not name yet. Then went on to say that yeah basically it's a secret commit but he didn't want to give it away.

I have a feeling it's Mike Nobler Jr, so understandably we need to keep this on the low until he does a few takes on his Rivals announcement video

Nebraska wide receiver commit Jaevon McQuitty dropped a hint during a Tuesday appearance on "The Bottom Line" about a pretty big secret regarding the Huskers' recruiting class.

When McQuitty was asked who his roommate will be when he arrives in Lincoln, the four-star recruit said it was a "tossup" between fellow commits Keyshawn Johnson Jr. and Tristan Gebbia — "or another guy I can't say yet." When TBL host Mike'l Severe asked if that means the Huskers have a silent commit, McQuitty replied, "I don't want to talk too much. I might give it away, but you could say that."

Now, Nebraska has experienced both the positives and negatives that come with silent commits. And perhaps McQuitty was just messing around. But considering McQuitty was on campus for an official visit 10 days agowith several highly-rated targets, and has gotten to know several others through the recruiting process, this is surely enough to get Husker fans salivating at the thought.

Believe he's probably referring to Rahyme Johnson... the two are close and Johnson loves Nebraska. Don't think he's a silent but he's probably the closest to it. Remember Dez Fitzpatrick last year? He was supposedly silent as well.
