Thomas ran a 4.6 40? Holy crap.

Probably closer to a 4.7 if it was hand held but that is moving... kid is an athlete of the highest caliber. Raw as all get out. Can't wait to see what he does his senior year.

I've known for years. We all have. My blood boiled every time I had to hear about Ole Piss because I KNEW they were dirty. It was so blatantly obvious.

Well, yea, how else can you explain them being relevant in past 5-7 years? right when/after Eli left. They were crap before then, pretty much.

I'm not seeing anything special. Looks like a run-of-the-mill north/south pound the rock guy. Decent center of gravity. Looks kind of flat-footed.

Much rather get a Stephan Carr.

Yeah, Carr is one of the best RB's in the country, though. If we can get him to visit we've got a pretty good shot. While not quite as fun, it would be pretty impressive to pull this guy out of the SEC.

With a 'great' O-line, Hill could make for a long day for LB's and DB's. However, same could be said for just about anyone who can hang onto the ball.

Hill doesn't do much for me either and only has 3 Stars

He is a 4* on a couple of services. However, there are a plethora of 4* RB's. The vast majority end up being washes.

His mix tape didn't look amazing to me either, I was surprised that he had us top 2 after we only offered him less than a month ago and was considered a lock to one of the miss schools. Has nice hands for a RB however

Every year we hear about how Newby has finally put it all together

It's not isolated to Nebraska. There are a lot of 4* RB's nationwide that get limited playing time or none at all.

Looking at Hill's offer list...

Ole Miss? Expected (Home state school)
Miss St.? Expected (Home state school)
Missouri? Meh (New HC and their program has taken a big hit with the protests)
Tennessee? Meh
Oregon St? Meh

The rest are mid majors. Memphis, Southern Miss, UAB

No Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Florida, or LSU offers.

That is not to take away from my thoughts that this staff is doing a good job recruiting. It's nice to see them digging the deep south.
