Puck Fortland. Those fans don't deserve a W team much less an NHL team. They're probably gonna go celebrate by peeing in the lake again.

good luck moving on. judge.

my interest now lies with Owen Sound Attack
Canuck prospects Jonah Gadjovich and Brett McKenzie

McKenzie leading the team in scoring, and
Gadjovick has to break out sooner or later.... 18 shots in 4 games, and no points yet.

My best friend played for the Hawks for a year. Says to this day his billets were the nicest people he had ever met, the barn was packed for every regular season home game, just thought it was the quintessential Prairie hockey town. I'm sure Humboldt was very much the same kind of place.

Playing Junior A in SK is one of the toughest places to play at that level and I don't doubt these kids are all great.

These people are hurting today. We all are.

so much for that.

the Soo beat Owen Sound in a barnburner of a seventh game 9-7
Gadjvovich finally with a goal this series on 7 more shots, end with 2G 2A in 9 games
McKenzie with 2G 1A, to end with 8G 8A in 11 games

Swift Current Broncos are your WHL Champions, congrats to Speedy Creek.

Heard it's the first Saskatchewan based team to win the WHL since Swift did it in 1993. That's quite a dry spell. I don't know anything about the OHL this year, but Hamilton taking out Sault Ste. Marie seems like quite the upset based on the standings. I saw #1 in the Q was also eliminated in the finals. Should be a fun Memorial Cup. Hopefully Swift Current can take it.

Don Hay not returning to Kelowna next year,
Glen Hanlon for returning to the Giants,
and PG Cougars don't have a GM either.

I'm rooting for Speedy Creek, smallest market in the Dub by far. Also, they have Flames prospect Glenn Gawdin on the team.

FLipping between RBC Cup and Memorial Cup.
My goodness, there is a big jump between A and AAA
makes you wonder why guys like Turris and Fabbro would stay in a lesser league

Happens in the US all the time too. Loser Minnesota kids(Casey Middlestadt, Riley Tufte, etc...) staying in high school to compete against 14 years olds, instead of playing in the USHL.

Hamilton beats Speedy Creek 2-1 despite 54 saves from Broncos keeper Stuart Skinner. Swift Current needs to beat Regina on Wednesday in order to keep their Mem Cup hopes alive.

I don't like the idea that edmonton may have a goalie of the future.
