What are you talking about? Bad conditions, slow sloppy games, potential postponements, super far viewing distances? Its a wonderful event! It really showcases the sport!

Yeah, I don't know. I really wish it wasn't on New Year's Day. New Year's Day is for watching College Football, not hockey. I've had to record the last few and watch them the next day.

I would tune in just for the alumni game with these two as we'd probably get some fireworks.

I was exponentially more interested in the Wings-Leafs alumni games than I was in the actual Winter Classic last season.

And word around the campfire is that the Wings will be visiting the Avs in a 2016 Stadium Series game. You wanna talk about an alumni game with intrigue, that would be the ultimate showdown... and they're going to waste it on a flippin' Stadium Series afterthought game.

Sure we love the game, but I want to know how the guy ordering the hot dogs pulls it off, I want to be right there in the board room when they are talking about how to set up additional satellite parking lots, and I want to see how the teams devise a lottery system for non-season ticket holders. We've got the steak, now give us the sizzle!

I want to see the sweat on the brow of a vendor who normally sells 5,000 hotdogs a game when they tell him he needs to ramp up production for a 66,000 seat stadium. I want to see ticket takers in the gym getting their arms in shape so they are ready to rip 4 times the number of tickets.
